I have always loved painting and drawing from when I was a child, through school and college, to the present day. I like all mediums but at the moment acrylic is my main interest. I always paint from my own photographs and my main delight is to visit a harbour or a seaside village where I spend hours wandering, sketching and composing my pictures. I usually get lost in my thoughts while the tides come in and go out! Other subjects I enjoy are plants and flowers, again from my own photographs.
