Dorothy Barton	Sue Jeffries	Anne Deven I have been painting for a number of years now but my interest probably started (some time ago) in Primary School during Nature Study lessons when we were sent outside to draw or paint the nature around us. I was in my element doing this and maybe explains my interest in painting various aspects of nature now. My favourite medium is watercolour but I am currently trying out acrylics and thoroughly enjoying the challenge.

Gill Guymer I came to art in later life and for me painting is purely for pleasure. I like to paint in a group and appreciate the opportunity to learn from and encourage each other. Watercolour is my preferred medium. I love colour. Art has taught me to see beauty in the everyday things of life and I believe we should all find our creative side to find fulfilment. Pauline Peters I am a watercolorist and mostly enjoy painting landscapes or sometimes animals.	Barney Rowen	Catherine Young I joined St Marys Art Group in 2014 and decided to teach myself to paint so I started with watercolour. Then in 2017 I had a break from the art group and art itself and it wasn't until 2021 that I was ready to get back to it. I went on a painting holiday and started to use acrylics, so now I like to mix my watercolour and acrylics to get my desired affect. Colour is always my first thought while I am still trying to find my style, which I would like to be a little more abstract.
